Purpose and services

PROMETHEUS offers content, events, training and digital tools, including artificial intelligence assistants. Available features depend on the account, role and, where relevant, the offering used.

Access to the services offered on the website is currently free. Some features require an account and are subject to the access conditions and usage limits shown on the platform.

Creating and using an account

When creating a student account, users provide accurate information and certify their student status. Teacher accounts follow a separate registration process. A status declaration does not replace applicable access checks.

Users protect their credentials and report unauthorised use of their account. Specific access conditions, quotas and features are presented within the relevant service.

Responsible use

The service must not be used for unlawful activities, to infringe others’ rights, attempt unauthorised access to accounts or data, bypass access restrictions or compromise platform security.

Users ensure they have the necessary rights to the texts, documents and other material they submit. They respect the confidentiality of third party information.

Using artificial intelligence

Responses are generated automatically and may contain errors, omissions or bias. Users check information and sources before relying on or sharing them. Responses are not individual professional advice, including legal, medical or financial advice.

PROMETHEUS does not claim ownership of responses generated for users. Their use remains subject to third party rights and applicable rules.

Personal data

Data processing, recipients and ways to exercise your rights are described in the privacy policy. Accepting these terms does not constitute consent to optional processing that requires a separate choice.

Read the privacy policy

Availability and liability

The association operates the service within its available resources and applicable obligations. Interruptions may occur, particularly for maintenance, security or issues involving a technical provider.

Each party is responsible for breaches attributable to it under applicable law. No provision of these terms excludes liability or a guarantee that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Suspension, closure and changes

Access may be restricted in the event of abuse, a security incident or a breach of these terms. The measure must be proportionate to the circumstances. Users can contact the association to request an explanation or review.

Users can request account closure. Certain data may be retained as described in the privacy policy. Significant changes to the service or these terms are communicated appropriately.

Applicable law and contact

These terms are governed by French law, subject to the mandatory protections available to users. The competent court is determined by applicable legal rules.

For questions or complaints, contact PROMETHEUS at contact@prometheus-edu.fr or 307 avenue Thiers, 33100 Bordeaux, France.
